Low matching frame and engine number

This Z1 has been through a total nut and bolt restoration. This started with a full rolling chasis check and alignment by motoliner, following this bike was stripped and inspected to identify/what was needed for the build both the front and rear wheels were stripped and rims chromed, new bearings fitted with seals and rebuilt.  Unfortunately, the rear rim was not used as it was not true.  A new triple chrome rim was purchased and fitted but the original is with the bike should the new owner wish to try to rectify the issue.

All the hardware zinc and cleared or re-chromed as required.  Speedo and tacho restored by Alistair Hillaby, frame and all black parts powder coated by Tristans Southampton.  All brake line seal shoes and pads replaced, the engine was subjected to a full strip and rebuild starting with a full inspection.  

Required new bearings, first oversize rebore, all camchain parts, sprockets bodies replaced, full head strip and rebuild reseated, resealed and re shimmed.  All new filters and quality oil.  Upgrade to DYNA S ignition and 5 OHM coils with Taylor leads.  Electrical system 100% inspected, stripped and serviced or replaced as required. 

Z Power solid state regulator rectifier installed.  Paint by dream machine and all rubber fittings replaced, steering now on taper roller bearings and swing arm bearings  replaced.  Avon Road Riders keep you in the touch with the road.

Couldn’t find a better Z1 on the net with receipts to back up work, all numbers correct.
